We spend too much time waiting for the right moment. The truth is, the perfect moment does not exist.
When you wait, you are letting the environment dictate your progress. As a practitioner, your goal is to make deliberate choices to design the life you want, rather than accepting the one you were handed.
Choosing Action Over Preparation
Preparation is comfortable. It feels like work, but often it's just a form of procrastination. To shift from waiting to doing:
- Set micro-deadlines.
- Build low-fidelity versions of your ideas.
- Accept that your first attempt will be messy.
In my journey as a software engineer and entrepreneur, the projects that succeeded were never the ones I planned for months. They were the ones I built in a weekend and pushed to production immediately.
